I'm back with poetry!!!

So it's been awhile since I posted here...not that anyone cares only two people read this and one I usually have to tell over the phone that I've put a new post up.

Anyways I've been kind of down lately in what I need to be doing, I let lustful spirits access to my mind and my faith became weak. But now after continuous prayer and reading of the Word AKA the Bread of Life, my spirit is in top shape and I'm continuing to exercise it with prayer and meditating on the word and seeking the love, joy, and peace of God that we can only receive by the acceptance that his Son, Jesus Christ, our King of Kings and Lord of Lord, was sacrificed for our sins so that we may be cleansed by his blood and that by the power of God he ascended on the third day, becoming a master of death, Amen.

Anyways not doing a big post today, maybe next time, tonight I wanted to share my poetry with the two (blogger note: prayer for multiplication on that amen.) people who do read this, so here's the first one titled Born Guilty

In this world of sin.
That mankind takes pleasure in.
Letting lustful desires take over.
And groveling in sinful grime moreover.

Children are born into guilt.
Though its not the same Eve felt.
And during life we all take a bite from the forbidden fruit.
But we must resist and go shout out.

We wear the chains of the flesh.
But soon we'll break out refresh.
Then we'll hear our calling.
And become separated from those that are falling.

We were born into guilt.
Now that we are free there is none left.
We have broken the chains.
And stand in spiritual rain.

The time has come for us to stand.
And when it's offered to take the hand.
For we are all born into guilt.
But now there is none left.

Foolish people

Last night I was talking to somebody who had a misunderstanding of something I said earlier concerning a friend of mine. Basically the person thought I had something bad about them and went on to tell me stuff like "Being a Christian isn't all about going to church." "You don't need to go to church" "That place is full of 95% people who do whatever they want to do and are hypocrits."

So this person expressed her opinions, I defended my faith and my home as best as I could, and then I tried to apologize for the misunderstanding, but this person saw fit to hang up on me.

This morning while I was in prayer and worship I was moved by the Spirit to read Proverbs 18:2

"A fool finds no pleasure in understanding
but delights in airing his own opinions."

Some people don't want to truly understand God's word, they just want to examine and then shout their own opinions about it.

This person believes that you don't have to go to church, and you know what they are right...but they are also a fool. Because when they use the word church, they refer to a building, they don't know what the church really is.

We are the church, everyone of us who has been delivered and strive to do what is right in God's eye, who do our best to live as Jesus lived. We are the church, the body of Christ and it's not good for us to do anything alone, for we need the fellowship of other believers, brothers and sisters in Christ.

So I urge you not to be a fool, don't listen to the opinions of those who don't understand, seek God and you will find Him.
