I'm back with poetry!!!

So it's been awhile since I posted here...not that anyone cares only two people read this and one I usually have to tell over the phone that I've put a new post up.

Anyways I've been kind of down lately in what I need to be doing, I let lustful spirits access to my mind and my faith became weak. But now after continuous prayer and reading of the Word AKA the Bread of Life, my spirit is in top shape and I'm continuing to exercise it with prayer and meditating on the word and seeking the love, joy, and peace of God that we can only receive by the acceptance that his Son, Jesus Christ, our King of Kings and Lord of Lord, was sacrificed for our sins so that we may be cleansed by his blood and that by the power of God he ascended on the third day, becoming a master of death, Amen.

Anyways not doing a big post today, maybe next time, tonight I wanted to share my poetry with the two (blogger note: prayer for multiplication on that amen.) people who do read this, so here's the first one titled Born Guilty

In this world of sin.
That mankind takes pleasure in.
Letting lustful desires take over.
And groveling in sinful grime moreover.

Children are born into guilt.
Though its not the same Eve felt.
And during life we all take a bite from the forbidden fruit.
But we must resist and go shout out.

We wear the chains of the flesh.
But soon we'll break out refresh.
Then we'll hear our calling.
And become separated from those that are falling.

We were born into guilt.
Now that we are free there is none left.
We have broken the chains.
And stand in spiritual rain.

The time has come for us to stand.
And when it's offered to take the hand.
For we are all born into guilt.
But now there is none left.

Foolish people

Last night I was talking to somebody who had a misunderstanding of something I said earlier concerning a friend of mine. Basically the person thought I had something bad about them and went on to tell me stuff like "Being a Christian isn't all about going to church." "You don't need to go to church" "That place is full of 95% people who do whatever they want to do and are hypocrits."

So this person expressed her opinions, I defended my faith and my home as best as I could, and then I tried to apologize for the misunderstanding, but this person saw fit to hang up on me.

This morning while I was in prayer and worship I was moved by the Spirit to read Proverbs 18:2

"A fool finds no pleasure in understanding
but delights in airing his own opinions."

Some people don't want to truly understand God's word, they just want to examine and then shout their own opinions about it.

This person believes that you don't have to go to church, and you know what they are right...but they are also a fool. Because when they use the word church, they refer to a building, they don't know what the church really is.

We are the church, everyone of us who has been delivered and strive to do what is right in God's eye, who do our best to live as Jesus lived. We are the church, the body of Christ and it's not good for us to do anything alone, for we need the fellowship of other believers, brothers and sisters in Christ.

So I urge you not to be a fool, don't listen to the opinions of those who don't understand, seek God and you will find Him.

I'm a FAG!

Hey everybody, it's me....for those who may or may not read this. It's been awhile, so I just wanted to do like a life update basically. Kind of talk about what's going on and I said I'd be doing that in the first blog I posted, so this is the first one of those and it's gonna be simple, just really about how my life is going and everything.

First off, I think one of the reason's I haven't posted lately for the two people that read this...(you know who you are.) is that I really haven't had anything to talk about. I kind of had some slip ups and fell out of touch with God, but hey it's gonna happen, but really it's like if I go "Ok I slipped up that's it, it's gonna happen again and again, I might as well quit." then really why am I doing this? Why am I going ahead and praying and worshipping one night and then committing sin the next, then feeling bad for it, then rinse and repeat...

And I can't do that, if I slip up, then I have to repent and I have to go at overcoming those things more strongly. And not just me but everyone else, if we just stay on the ground after we trip, then that's it, but if we get back up and go "Alright God I messed up, I'm sorry, I need you in my life always to overcome this." then we can do it, because He's with us.

So I had a few slip ups, getting back on my feet and I want to give God 100% of all that I have to give.

Oh and if anyone is wondering about the title...well someone messaged me calling me a fag, I have no idea why, I haven't talked to the person in awhile but I decided to take it and make it fit myself, so I made it an abbreviation of Freak After God.

I'd like to say that Amazon.com has become really fast on getting stuff to you, me and my mom ordered christmas gifts yesterday and they shipped them today, now normally its usually about a week or two before they get here, but no it's gonna be here tomorrow

Also...theres something else...ummm.....trying to remember it....ah...oh yeah I like to write, as you can tell, but I also like to write poetry from time to time and I have two that I will post on here in the near future possibly one will be my next post if nothing comes to me before then for a regular blog post.

So that's it, I won't be around next week due to going off on a thanksgiving vacation, but I'll be back after that.

God Bless.

So-Called Christians.

This is not a message from me it is a message from the Spirit that dwells within me and that is the Holy Spirit of the one True God.

You people who go around talking to your friends and joking around and when a conversation about God or Jesus comes up and you say "Oh I'm a Christian I live for Jesus everyday." and then you go off and you smoke pot, drink alchahol and abuse your body that is suppose to be Jesus' temple. You have no right to call yourselves Christians.

God wants us to give him our love and praise and thanks and in return he will give back to us, but you people take it for granted, because to you its not about what God wants, its about what you want. You don't want to have to deal with all of the things a true believer must do.

I command any of you who are true and live as God wants us to live, to not call yourself Christians but Believers and Messengers, for we are all messengers from Him.

And to those who live in the dark and are blind, it's time for you to wake up! God is starting to stir, He's stirring in me and He'll be stirring in you soon, so WAKE UP! And start living for him and praising him for when you start giving to Him, He will give it to you, but you must be patient.

So stop lying to yourself stop calling yourself a Christian and then doing all the things He has asked that we not do so that we may live in harmony with him. When you're about to lay in bed with a girl to have premarital sex, and you think to yourself "It's ok, I'm a Christian, God will forgive me anyways." You are both right and wrong, you are wrong because being a Christian doesn't mean still doing the sinful deeds and acting like we're being forgiven every moment we do them, for when you continue giving into your desires, it closes your heart to God.

But you are also right for God will forgive you, but you must ask for it and recieve him back into your soul, but after that you must start living for him!

The time is coming to spread God's joy and love, because that's what its all about, become united with your brothers and sisters in Christ and love one another and spread the message!!!!!

Idols

We live in a world that offers us so much entertainment and fun that it makes us forget about the one thing that we need most; God in our lives. Anything that we become more involved with then we are with our Creator is an idol.

Now you'd think during Moses' time it would of been easier to keep focus on God, but no even his people gave in to a false idol.

I'm not saying you should give away all your stuff that makes you less focus on God, He wants you to enjoy your life and have fun, but if the fun takes away your focus on whats most important in life. Then you should start to rework your life so you give back your focus to God.

Beginnings....start here

You don't know me or maybe you do if you're one of my friend's reading this, but this is for those that don't.

You may not know me, but we're not any different, sure we probably like different stuff, have different tastes in music and stuff like that. But theres one thing that we both have to go through that makes us the same, life and what it throws at us.

So let me introduce myself, my name is Keegan, I'm nineteen years old, I live in Louisiana, I work at a restaraunt, I eat, I sleep, I hang out with friends, and....oh yeah I'm an ex-atheist.

WAIT!!! Don't click that x, I know what you're thinking, "Oh great an atheist turned Christian who thinks he has the answers and is here to preach on the internet." I'm not gonna do that.

This blog is about my journey to find those answers through the one book that can give them. The Bible AKA God's Word; I am reading it Genesis-Revelations and I will post on this blog the stuff I have learned from it and how it has helped me in my life.

Now I won't only use this blog for that, but the majority of it will be for that purpose.

So after that introduction I'd like to start with what would be the actual blogging part...

One of the things most of us have trouble with is trusting God, so much bad stuff happens to us that we're just like "God doesn't care."

Something I learned in my reading of Genesis was that, these people who lived such harder lives then ours we're really trustworthy of God. Think about it, when Adam and Eve were banished from the garden they could of been like "Oh God banished us, I guess he doesn't love us, well lets not put our trust in him."

But they did trust him and they taught their kid's to trust in him as well; then we come to Noah, who lived in a world of so much sin that it made God grieved about his creation

Genesis 6:5-6

The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

There was so much sin and wickedness back then that it made God sad, imagine how the sins that the world is doing now is affecting him. And this is what he decided to do.

Genesis 6:7

So the Lord said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth...

That's not the whole part, but that's what it's about; all the sinning made God sad and he decided just to end it.

Noah lived during this, and he was a righteous man, he trusted and walked with God and he lived in a world of so much sin, but he didn't let it affect him. If it did...well we probably wouldn't be here. He found favor in God's eye and was warned about the flood and giving instructions to build and ark and take his family and two of every animal.

Wow just wow, but Noah isn't the only person who's trust in God was tested and didn't let up, let's move to Abraham.

Abraham was tested the most severe way, he had to sacrifice his son, his own flesh and blood. He could of refused and turn his back on God, but no he got the supplies he needed and took his son up and was going to sacrifice him.

Luckily he didn't have to, because God saw that he was going to do it and because he now knew that Abraham fully feared him to not even withhold his son from him he intervened and stopped him.

The biggest thing I have learned from reading Genesis is that, I need to put my trust in God completely, theres gonna be hard times and extremely hard times, where I will be tested and tested again. But I mustn't worry about it, all I have to do is trust in my creator.
